Honest, approachable and helpful (at least that's how I hope people would see me)
Where is the best place you have travelled to and why?

Where would your dream holiday destination be?
St Lucia. It entrances me everytime I read something about it.

Vanilla (but has to be Mr Whippy)

A&E nurse. I think this would be so rewarding.
Have you been doing anything new or interesting during lockdown?
I have a love for 1000 piece jigsaws, but recently I've been delving into embroidery, not sure how that's gonna go lol I've also planted my own seeds and bulbs this year, we have green shoots, but no flowers yet
How long have you been at Gateway?
Almost 6 years, sounds cliche, but they have been the best by far
Why did you start volunteering at Gateway?
I saw a post on fb looking for volunteers, contacted Thomas. After the 1st night that was me hooked
Tell us about your favourite memory of Gateway?
The 2nd night I volunteered, when I went back after the 1st night and some of the members remembered my name or knew I was there the week before. The feeling of acceptance was absolutely brilliant
What would you say to anyone thinking of joining Gateway?
Give it a go! There's nothing else that compares to walking out that door on a Wednesday night, knowing for the past 2-3 hours you have made a difference to someone's life. It's both fulfilling and rewarding.
What is your favourite part of a "typical" Gateway Wednesday night?
When everyone is marked in & you get 5 mins to have a wee yarn, love hearing their stories. But also love getting ready for home, that's when you get the hugs (I'm a hugger, can't help myself)
